Take just one hour to stretch, breathe and challenge your body. The Pilates Method was created for industrialized society. As our lives have evolved from having daily physical tasks to largely driven by technology, we use our bodies less. Joseph Pilates saw this progression as being highly detrimental to the health of a human being. The Pilates system of exercises was born from the desire to create a system of exercises that would challenge the entire body; including the muscles, heart, lungs and the central operating center, the brain.
